Dear Students,
What if your next project could solve a real problem from your own village, farm, family business, or community?
Atal Community Innovation Center (ACIC – SVERI), is launching the Campus to Community Challenge — a unique opportunity to work on real community problems and develop innovative, practical solutions with real-world impact.
Through this challenge, you will get an opportunity to:
- ● Work on real challenges faced by communities
- ● Build practical problem-solving, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills
- ● Work in interdisciplinary teams across Engineering, Diploma, MBA, and Pharmacy
- ● Interact directly with communities and local stakeholders
- ● Strengthen your resume and future career profile through meaningful field experience
- ● Explore possibilities for startups, business ideas, community projects, and innovation opportunities
Selected student teams will work on these projects over the semester with guidance, field visits, and innovation support through ACIC.
There may also be opportunities for:
- ■ Cash prizes and recognition
- ■ Exposure to industry experts, practitioners, and social innovators
- ■ Future incubation/support opportunities for promising ideas
Orientation Session
Students interested in participating are invited to attend the orientation session to understand: How the challenge works, Team formation process, Project expectations and opportunities.
Detailed orientation sessions have been conducted to give you more information & answer your questions. A few more sessions may be conducted between 15 June 2026 to 20 June 2026.
This is your chance to become a problem solver, innovator, and changemaker for your own community.
We encourage all interested students to attend and explore this exciting opportunity.

ACIC (Atal Community Innovation Center) at SVERI, Pandharpur, is a dedicated innovation and entrepreneurship center established to promote rural enterprise growth, startup creation, and community development in the region. Jointly supported by NITI Aayog and WHEELS Global Foundation, the center will support students, youth, farmers, women self-help groups, alumni, and local businesses through mentoring, skill development, business support services, transforming ideas into sustainable businesses.
अटल कम्युनिटी इनोव्हेशन सेंटर (एसीआयसी), स्वेरी, पंढरपूर हे ग्रामीण उद्योजकता विकास, स्टार्टअप निर्मिती आणि परिसरातील सामुदायिक विकासाला चालना देण्यासाठी स्थापन करण्यात आलेले एक समर्पित नवोपक्रम व उद्योजकता केंद्र आहे. नीती आयोग आणि व्हील्स ग्लोबल फाउंडेशन यांच्या संयुक्त सहकार्याने स्थापन झालेल्या या केंद्रामार्फत विद्यार्थी, युवक, शेतकरी, महिला बचत गट, माजी विद्यार्थी आणि स्थानिक व्यावसायिकांना मार्गदर्शन, कौशल्य विकास, व्यवसाय सहाय्य सेवा देण्यात येतील तसेच कल्पनांचे शाश्वत व्यवसायांमध्ये रूपांतर करण्यास मदत केली जाईल.
